This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents herein to mutate the patta bearing No.296 in the name of the petitioners herein for their land to an extent of 1 acre and 26 cents in survey No.272/4 and a land to an extent of 0.32 cent in survey No.272/5 at Mangalapuram, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District by considering the petitioners' representation dated 30.07.2024. 2.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 30.07.2024 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and counter parties, if there are, and giving them opportunity 2/4

of personal hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
