By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to complete the enquiry and register the petitioner's document viz. sale deed dated 06.05.2025 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

3. At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader they would complete the enquiry and register the sale deed dated 06.05.2025, if is otherwise in order. If, for any reason, the Sub Registrar is of the view that the registration ought to be refused, he would do so after assigning reasons, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view thereof, there shall be a direction to respondent to complete 2/5

the enquiry and register the sale deed dated 06.05.2025, if it is otherwise in order, in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. If for any reason, the respondent refuses to register the sale deed, he shall assign reasons in the refusal slip. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the case on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
