father's name situated at Linganayakanahalli village Venkadatharahalli post Pappireddipatti Taluk Dharmapuri district within a stipulated period For Petitioner : Mr.E.K.Kumaresan For Respondents 1 to 3 : Mr.D.Ravichander Special Government Pleaders Order Heard Mr.E.K.Kumaresan learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander Pleader, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 . Since the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission and considering the nature of relief to be granted herein, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.
2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking for issuance of a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to decide the petitioner's Appeal dated 05.07.2025 in a time bound manner.
3. Mr.E.K.Kumaresan, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed an Appeal before the first respondent on 2/5
05.07.2025 to cancel the patta No.1390 and to restore the original patta, in the name of his father; that since the said Appeal evoked no response, the petitioner has approached this Court, by way of filing this Writ Petition, seeking for the aforementioned relief. It is further submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to respondent No.1 to dispose of the Appeal pending before him within a stipulated time.
4. Mr.D.Ravichander Pleader, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 has submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner would be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. 5.
Considering the aforesaid submissions and the limited scope of the prayer, sought for by the petitioner, in this Writ Petition, this Court, without expressing any view with regard to the merits of the contentions putforth by the petitioner either in the Writ Petition or in the Appeal, is of the view that, suffice it would be to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's Appeal in a time bound manner. 3/5

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the Appeal made by the petitioner dated 05.07.2025 and dispose of the same as early as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
