These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.79 of 2022, pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

When these matters were taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed, the final report has been filed and the same has been taken cognizance of on the file of the Court for exclusive trial of CCB & CBCID cases, Egmore, in C.C.No.137 of 2025.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
