The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.42 of 2022 registered by the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC.

2. It is stated that an order was passed that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs.75/- lakhs to the credit of the crime number. This order was passed after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned counsel for the intervenor. It is now represented that the petitioner had been arrested in yet another FIR.

3. In view of that fact, the issuance of anticipatory bail would not lie. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. But the fact that the Court had directed to deposit a sum of Rs.75/- lakhs which condition had not yet been complied is recorded. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 09.01.2024 rjr C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
