By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in his name by considering his patta transfer application in Application No.2020/0103/35/197503, dated 02.09.2020.

It is the case of the petitioner that the property situated in Survey Nos.144/3A1B, 144/3A1C and 144/3A1D, Perungalathur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District, originally belongs to the petitioner's father P.A.Varadarajan Naicker and after his death, the other legal heirs of P.A.Varadarajan Naicker executed two Release Deeds dated 21.12.2010 and 16.12.2019 releasing the subject property in favour of the petitioner. Thus, the petitioner acquired absolute right over the subject property and submitted an online application dated 02.09.2020 seeking online patta on the strength of the documents mentioned above and the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the online application of 2/4
the petitioner dated 02.09.2020 will be considered by the respondent on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner in Application No.2020/0103/35/197503, dated 02.09.2020 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
