ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner is the husband of the detenue, namely Mrs.C.Kalaiselvi aged 29 years. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to produce the detenue and set her at liberty.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the status report filed. The Investigation Officer is also present.
3. The petitioner seeks production of his wife in pursuant to the complaint given on 06.08.2019, which was registered in Crime No.646 of 2019 for woman missing on 29.08.2019. The status report reveals that it is a case of elopement prima facie. Thus, considering the above and taking note of the fact https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
that the detenue is missing quite some time. While closing this petition, we direct the respondent to make further enquiry and make all endeavour to trace the missing woman. 4.Accordingly, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
