Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to remove the illegal encroachment on Kanji Bus Stand and Kanji Revenue Village Survey Nos.84/2B, 111, 128, 131, 132, 133, 134, 141, 142, 143, 143/1B, 144/1B, 145/1B and 146 consequently handover the government lands to the respective departments officials. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.V.Narasimma Moorthy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are encroachments in Kanji bus stand and the same are not being removed. An application is given under the Right to Information Act, 2005, but the information is not yet received.

3. Except the bald allegations in the petition, we do not find any other document to suggest about the encroachments. If the petitioner can lay his hands on authentic documents and/or authentic information, then the petitioner may agitate afresh.

4. In the light of that, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
