Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.PC, praying to transfer the investigation pending Cr.No. 316 of 2019 with the 2nd respondent to any other officer or any other agency to investigate the matter.

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioner is that though the F.I.R. was registered on 26.06.2019, there is not much progress in the investigation. In my view, such a ground cannot be sustained for the purpose of transferring the investigation. Nevertheless, if the Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the investigation and complete the same within a stipulated time, the ends of justice could be secured.

2. In the light of the above observation, there shall be a direction to the first respondent herein, to expedite the investigation in Crime No.316 of 2019 and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. the Assistant Commissioner of Police having jurisdiction with the second respondent Police Station. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
