The Petitioners herein seek for quash the complaint registered against him in Crime No.89 of 2022 on the file of the 1st Respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners submits that it is a matrimonial dispute wherein the complaint was given by the wife and taken up for investigation. Now, the parties have arrived at compromise and decided to withdraw the complaint. Hence, seek for quash.

3. If the parties have decided to withdraw the complaint and settle the dispute amicably without resorting to legal intervention, it is always open for them to report the same to the Investigating Officer, who is enquiring the Crime No.89 of 2022. If such statement is made by the complainant to withdraw the complaint made against the petitioners herein , which is the subject matter in Crime No.89 of 2022, the Inspector of Police shall record the same and close the FIR. Report the closure of the FIR to the concerned Magistrate Court.

4. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition to quash the FIR is disposed of.
