ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta for the properties comprised in S.No. 463/3, 463/4 and 463/5 situated at Adiyanur Village, Pethanaickenpalayam, Salem District in favour of the petitioner pursuant to his representation dated 11.08.2025.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner submitted a representation on 11.08.2025 to issue patta in his name in respect of the subject property. However, the said representation was not considered so far by the respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents that the subject properties are classified as Anadeenam and hence, the petitioner may not entitled to issuance of patta. However, he would submit that the representation dated 11.08.2025 made by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents, to consider the representation dated 11.08.2025 made by the petitioner on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties/rival claimants, within a period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of uploading the web copy order without waiting for the certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the representation and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the representation on its own merits and in accordance with law.
