This petition has been filed to modify the condition, imposed as that the petitioner shall report before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate Court No.VII, George Town, instead of that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police every Monday and Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders, in Crl.O.P.No.22351 of 2022, dated 27.09.2022. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner has directed him to stay at Madurai and report before the Thallakulam Police Station, everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of three weeks and thereafter, report before the respondent police on every Monday and Saturday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. He would also submit that the petitioner after complying with the conditions, came back to Chennai and reported before the respondent police and the respondent police remanded him in yet another Page No.1/4

case registered against him. However, the petitioner was granted bail by the learned Magistrate on the same and was directed to report before the Trial Court everyday. Further, the apprehension of the petitioner is that he would be arrested in some other cases. Hence, he seeks for modification of the above condition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner has not complied with the conditions even for a single day. Hence, he opposed for modification of condition.

4.Considering the above submissions, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of one week and he shall subject him to interrogation and thereafter, as and when required.
