The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.09.2023, in Crime No.1492 of 2023, for the offences punishable under Section 8 (c) r/w 20 (b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, seeks bail. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in the case. Thus, he seeks bail to the petitioner.
3. It is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the petitioner was found in possession of 10.200 Kgs of Ganja. It is stated that he is from Orissa and he is residing in Coimbatore. But, however, investigation has not yet been completed. Thus, he prayed for dismissal of this petition.
4.Let investigation be completed and final report be filed. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
