The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.09.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.621 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and A1 were friends and in temple festival, there had been a quarrel between them. At the time, the defacto complainant with his friends attacked the first accused and thereafter, owing to that particular enmity, A1 and the petitioner herein had caused grievous injuries to the defacto complainant by using a knife.
3.It is stated that there are 17 stitches put on the head of the defacto complainant and the injured has been discharged from the hospital.
4.In view of these circumstances and the gruesome nature of the attack, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
