This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.11.2022.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint against her daughter-in-law namely Manju and on which, no action has been taken.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.25/SP GOP/ALGSC/PLF /22 and the enquiry reveals that there is only a civil dispute between the petitioner and her daughter-in-law.

Since the petitioner is a senior citizen, I feel it is appropriate to direct the second respondent police to complete the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
