The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.08.2021 for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 22(C), 27A, 28, 29 of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985 in R.R.No.32/21 in NCB.F.No.48/1/09/2021 NCB/MDS on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons were illegally transported 7.900 kgs of white crystalline substance believed Amphetamine without any valid license or permit. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, on instructions, the learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner and other accused were illegally transported 7.900 kgs of white crystalline substance believed Amphetamine without any valid license or permit and further considering the gravity of the offence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the representation made on either side and nature of offence charged against the petitioner and considering the quantity of material involved in this case is a commercial quantity, Trial is also commenced, at this stage, this Court declined to grant bail to the petitioner.
