ORDER

(1)Mrs.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

(2)The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.07.2025, and consequently direct the respondent to grant necessary permission / Licence to the petitioner Trust to bury the physical bodies of the enlightened Members of the petitioner Trust in their Patta Land.

(3)The petitioner is the Managing Trustee of Vallalar Adhiyinam, which is a social welfare and charitable Trust. The petitioner states that the Trust purchased vast extent of dry lands in various survey numbers in Ramapuram Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Tiruvallur District, under a registered Sale Deed dated 13.07.2023, bearing Doc.No.3445/2023. The petitioner further states that patta was also transferred in the name of the Trust in Patta No.2563. The

petitioner states that the petitioner/Trust had purchased the said properties, with an intention to earmark a portion of the said properties for the burial of the bodies of the enlightened souls and enlightened disciples of their Guru, since the Trust believes that the enlightened disciples of their Guru were constant source of vibration for the welfare of the entire members of the Trust as well as for the general public. The petitioner therefore submitted a representation on 26.07.2025, seeking permission of the respondent to bury the enlightened souls in the aforesaid lands. Since the said representation of the petitioner was not considered, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

(4)The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2025, and the supporting documents, within a reasonable time as stipulated by this Court.

(5)Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. (6)In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is

issued to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
