This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.531 of 2017 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that already investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Cheyyar, on 15.07.2017 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 293 and 506(i) of IPC. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
