The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aa) r/w 24 of TNP Act, in Crime No.254 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks 1/4
anticipatory bail.
2.The petition for anticipatory bail filed by the Bar owner in connection with selling of liquor through his agents during the prohibited hours.
3.The prosecution case is that 189 bottles of IMFL were recovered from A2 and A3, who were selling liquor at 6.30 a.m. in the morning. They were arrested and later released on bail. The investigation reveals that the petitioner is the supplier of the liquor to A2 and A3 to sell them during prohibited hours outside his Bar.
4.Considering the nature of the case, this petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
