Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 herein viz., the Regional Transport Officer, Dharmapuri and the Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-I, Hosur besides the Check post authorities in Grade-I multipurpose check post, Zuzuwadi, Hosur, Dharmapuri district to accept monthly or quarterly tax as tendered without insisting on payment of the tax at the rate of 1/10th of the quarterly tax in respect of the petitioners contract carriage (Maxi Cab) TATA Sumo Regn.No.KA 03/N 4790 covered by permit under Section 88(9) of the Motor Vehicle Act for every entry in Tamil Nadu For Petitioner : Mr.P.Vedavalle For Respondent : Mr.A.Sri Jayanthi, Spl Government Pleader.
