This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent Police not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondent police harassed the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner is not an accused. The petitioner was questioned in relation to the case concerning the murder in Crime No. 293 of 2024. The entire investigation has now been completed and the final report in Crime No. 293 of 2024 has been filed before the Principal Sessions Court, Chennai. Therefore, no further investigation is required in Crime No. 293 of 2024.

4. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. It is made clear that, since the complaint has been closed, the respondents shall not call the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and harass them.
