The petitioners herein seek anticipatory bail, stating that the crime number is not yet assigned.

Due to a matrimonial dispute, C.S.R.Nos345 & 346 of 2025 have been registered and are under enquiry. The petitioners are the named accused in C.S.R.No.346 of 2025.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the issue arises out of a dispute between the husband and wife. Accordingly, the police have registered C.S.Rs and the matter is under enquiry. If the petitioners cooperate with the enquiry, there is no apprehension of arrest.

Considering the fact, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed with direction to the petitioners to appear before the respondent police for enquiry on receipt of summons. On such cooperation, the respondent police shall not take any coercive action against the petitioners. The enquiry shall be completed within a period of three weeks from today and further action, if any, shall be taken in accordance with law, based on the out come of the enquiry. 28.08.2025 rpl 2/4
