O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2) and 326(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, in Crime No.161 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had illegally transported 1/4 unit of river sand in a Bullock Cart. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that, apart from this case, petitioner has nine similar previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the nature of the crime and the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 25.08.2025 nvi 2/4
