ORDER

Ms.Janani, learned counsel, accepts notice on behalf of Indian Bank (R1 & R2).

In light of the order that now being passed for consideration of the petitioner's application which has been kept pending for more than 15 months, there is no necessity for counter to be filed.

The prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing R1 and R2 to process her online application bearing No. 1568657 for sanction of educational loan. She states that fees for the second academic year in the third respondent college is due and the petitioner is greatly inconvenienced by the pendency of her application from June, 2022.

Learned counsel, who has entered appearance for the Bank would agree that petitioner's application would be disposed expeditiously and in any event within a period of three weeks from today. For this purpose, the petitioner may call upon R1 to submit necessary particulars.

Let the application be disposed in accordance with prevailing rules, regulations and guidelines as well as relevant provisions of law. Writ petition stands disposed in light of this order. No costs.
