ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to conduct further investigation on the complaint of the petitioner in Crime No.177 of 2013 on the file of the 2 nd respondent police and file the final report within the time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the FIR in Crime No.177 of 2013 came to be registered against the accused persons for cheating the defacto complainant by registering forged documents by way of impersonation and though the FIR was registered in the year 2013 itself, no final report has been filed till date. Now the defacto complainant is facing threat to hand over possession. Hence, the present petition is filed to direct the respondent police to conduct the investigation and file final report with a reasonable time.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that already the investigation is completed and 2/4

the charge sheet is yet to be filed. He further submitted that the first accused has been arrested and the second accused is still absconding and that they are conducting investigation.
