These petitions have been filed seeking to condone the delay of 817 days in filing the appeals.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.J.Chandran, learned counsel who takes notice on behalf of the second respondent.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered and the delay of 817 days in filing the appeals is condoned.

4.It is made clear that in the event of this Court enhancing the award amount, the petitioners shall not be entitled to any interest for the period of delay of 817 days in filing the appeals. 25.11.2024 pri Note: Registry is directed to number the appeal if it is otherwise in order.
