ORDER

This petition has been filed against the order of the Court below, dismissing the petition filed under Section 311 of Cr.P.C to permit the petitioner to give evidence as defence witness and also permit him to examine the Inspector of Police, B-3 Police Station, Chennai.

2. The Court below had dismissed the petition on the ground that the petitioner was given sufficient opportunity to examine the defence witnesses and in fact the present petition came to be filed when the case was at the stage of final arguments.

3. This Court does not find any illegality or infirmity in the order passed by the Court below and there are no grounds to interfere with the same.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the Court below is directed to proceed further with the case and complete the proceedings in C.C.No.4827 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2013, on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate Fast Track IV, George Town, Chennai, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
