The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.09.2023 registered for the offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa) and 4(1A)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act r/w Section 328 of IPC, in Crime No.279 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 120 litres of ID arrack. 3.On the side of the respondent, it is stated that there are 13 previous cases of similar nature pending against . 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that there are only 8 previous cases pending against him.
