The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 427, 336, 307 and 506(2) of of IPC in Crime No.262 of 2019, seek anticipatory bail.

2. It is stated that when the defacto complainant had accosted one Mr.Ramkumar, who had sustained injuries caused by the accused persons and had been admitted to Stanley Hospital, Chennai. The petitioners herein had intercepted the defacto complainant and another person and had tried to cut his neck. But the defacto complainant and the other person had somehow escaped. Grievous injuries has been caused. The entire incident happened in the middle of the road. The petitioners have obviously been under contract to do the said offence.
