This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner's land comprised in Survey Nos.260/1A, 260/8C, 269/2F and 260/8B, situated at Pottirettipatti Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District to put up fencing and compound wall work, based on the representation dated 13.08.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

3. The grounds mentioned in the petition are purely civil in nature and therefore, this petition is not maintainable.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 2/4

5. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the competent Civil Court.
