ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a mandamus, to direct the respondent to take immediate and appropriate action on my representation dated 27.07.2019, pertaining to the property bearing door No.7/4, College West Road, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 600 106 comprised in Survey No.210/2, T.S.No.74, Block No.8, measuring an extent of 2800 sq.ft, situated at No.107, Arumbakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk, Madras District within the Registration District of Madras North and Sub Registration District of Kodambakkam.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject matter of property in Survey No.210/2, T.S.No.74, Block No.8, measuring to an extent of 2800 sq.ft., situated at No.107, Arumbakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk was purchased by the petitioner's mother named A.Pattammal from one Mr.K.Bala Subramaniya Iyer, under a registered Sale Deed in Document No.417 of 1968 dated 11.07.1968 on Page No. 2 of 6
the file of Sub Registrar, Saidapet. After the demise of the petitioner's mother, the said property was later partitioned between the petitioner and other legal heirs registered as Document No.4276 of 1999 dated 21.12.1999 in the office of the Sub Registrar, Saidapet Taluk, Chennai measuring an extent of 2800 sq.ft., in which 1310 sq.ft., was alloted to the petitioner and the remaining of 1490 sq.ft was alloted to the petitioner's brother. As per the partitioned deed, the petitioner was allotted on the eastern portion of schedule property with the house and land bearing Door No.4, West College Road, Jaganatha Nagar, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 106. After the partition, the petitioner's brother had applied for patta and received the same from the office of the Tahsildar, Egmore, Nungambakkam as per C.A.No.41 of 2012 dated 10.04.
2012 to an extent of 1490sq.ft. Thereafter, the petitioner had made an representation dated 27.05.2019 before the respondent for issuance of patta, which was kept in abeyance. Subsequently, the petitioner had made an another representation dated 02.07.2019 in respect of the information of the earlier, there was no response from the respondent. Later, he had given yet another representation dated 27.07.2019 for issuance of patta for the balance 1310sq.ft. The respondent had not taken action on the representations of the petitioner, hence the writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that necessary action will be taken based on the representations given by the petitioner.

Considering the above facts, this Court directs the respondent/ Thashildar, Aminjakarai, Chennai to consider the representations dated 27.05.2019, 02.07.2019 and 27.07.2019 of the petitioner, after giving notice to both parties and opportunity of personal hearing, to consider the documents submitted by both parties, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders by observing the principles of natural justice, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
