Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to produce the copy of letter of lease for 99 years in favour of 1st petitioner granted by Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Madras before 1968 in respect of lands in Survey No.226- 1.74 Acre and 181-B-3.06 Acres in Ammanambakkam Village, Thiruvallur by referring the letter No.33045/67-A9 dated 29.10.1968 addressed to the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Madras by District Revenue Officer and the Collector, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram and Letter No.13400/68-1/A2/ 7.11.1968 and forbearing the respondent 1 & 2 and their subordinates not to disturb the petitioners peaceful possession of the property. ORDER

This writ petition is heard through Video-Conferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Anandhan of M/s.Majestic Law Firm, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, sought permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
