Respondent(s) PRAYER The Sub Application is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to reopen the Contempt Petition No. 963 of 2025 which was closed on 28.03.2025 and initiate Contempt Proceedings to punish the respondent herein for their wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No. 27626 of 2022 dated 17.10.20255 in accordance with the Contempt of Courts Act.

ORDER

This Court, vide order dated 17.10.2022, had issued a direction to the respondent to implement the impugned order dated 05.01.2017. However, the same was not implemented. Hence, the petitioner filed a Contempt Petition. The said Contempt Petition was closed, recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader that the gate was removed by the official respondent.

2. Since the gate was not removed, the petitioner filed the present application to reopen the Contempt for wilful disobedience by the respondent / contemnor. Hence, this Court, by order dated 21.11.2025, directed the respondent/ contemnor to appear before this Court and to file a status report explaining as to why incorrect information had been furnished to the learned Special Government Pleader.

3. Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 21.11.2025, Thiru.S.Udayam, Tahsildar, Poonamallee Taluk, has appeared before this Court today and filed the status report dated 27.11.2025 stating that the order of this Court has been complied with.

4. In view of the above, this Court finds that there is no wilful disobedience. Accordingly, this sub-application stands closed. 28-11-2025 asi
