This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 98 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case against the judgment dated 30.12.2024 passed in M.C.No.1 of 2021, on the file of Principal Family Court, Chennai.

2. Mr.S.Srinvasa Narayanan, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that due to lack of legal knowledge and also due to financial constraint, the petitioner is not able to instruct counsel on record to prefer the above Criminal Revision case and only during month of August 2025, he gave papers to him, as a result of which, there is a delay of 98 days in filing the above Criminal Revision Case arose, which is neither willful nor wanton. Therefore, he filed this petition to condone the delay in filing the above Criminal Revision Case.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, and the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit seems to be justifiable one, this court is inclined to allow this petition.
