O R D E R
This Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to permit the students of the Academic Year 2024-2025 to write the arrears of the First Semester examination and the 2nd Semester Examination which are to be commenced from 23rd August 2025 pending disposal of the writ petition.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.
3. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner-College would submit that the withdrawal of affiliation dated 28.10.2024 was set 2/6
aside by this Court, vide order dated 25.07.2025 in W.P.No.37866 of 2024. It is the further submission of the learned Senior Counsel that when withdrawal of the affiliation is set aside, the Institute has got every right to educate the students and they are eligible to right examinations. The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner would also invite the attention of this Court about the interim order dated 18.02.2025 passed in W.M.P.No.5797 of 2025 in W.P.No.37866 of 2024, wherein during the pendency of the writ petition, the students were allowed to write first semester examination. Now that, the second semester examination is scheduled to be commenced from 23rd August 2025 and in the wake of quashing of cancellation of affiliation, the petitioner's college students are eligible to write the second semester examination. In this connection, the Petitioner-College has sent representations on 05.08.2025 and 12.08.2025, but the respondents have not taken any decision upon their representations.
4. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that they are in the process of complying the direction of this Court passed in W.P.No.37866 of 2024, dated 25.07.2025. Hence, he prayed to adjourned the matter on 28.08.2025 to get further 3/6
instructions. However, the learned Standing Counsel would admit that the second semester examination is commencing from 23rd August 2025.
5. Therefore, from the submissions made by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, this Court finds prima facie case in favour of the petitioner.

In view of the same, in the interest of the students, the respondents are directed to open the portal of the University to enable the PetitionerCollege to upload the particulars of the students and thereafter, remit the fees for writing the examination. As the examination is scheduled on 23.08.2025, the said exercise shall be completed within two days from today.
7. It is made clear that no equity can be claimed either by the college or by the students. The petitioner-college is directed to furnish the details of the students once the portal is opened and remit the examination fee.
8. Accordingly, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. 4/6
