Petition for bail for the alleged offence under Section 296(b), 118(1) and 353(3) of BNS Act and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.07.2025.

2. The petitioner herein is the father of the defacto complainant. Due to property dispute, he attacked his own son with iron rod causing fracture injury.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that more than 35 days, the petitioner is inside the prison. Since final report already filed and the injured discharged from the hospital, the petitioner may be granted bail.

4. Considering the relationship between the defacto complainant and the petitioner, if the petitioner is released on bail, there is every possibility of tampering the witness and also endangering the life to the defacto complainant, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original petition for bail stands dismissed for the present and the same may be reviewed after examination of the defacto complainant. 26.08.2025 Vv 2/4
