The petitioner seeks bail in Spl.S.C.No.16 of 2023 now pending on the file of the Fast Track Court exclusively to deal with offences under the POCSO Act, Puducherry.

2.The petitioner is the sole accused and since he did not appear before the trial Court, the Non Bailable Warrant was issued on 05.03.2020 and it was executed after more than three years on 29.08.2023.

3.The learned counsel states that the petitioner was not issued with notice.

4.No notice need be issued to the accused. Once the charge sheet has been filed, it is the duty of the accused to attend the Court. 5.At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
