This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 99 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel or the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. Though the learned counsel for the respondent has no objection in allowing this petition, considering the submission made and on being satisfied with reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 22.08.2024. If the cost is paid on or before 22.08.2024, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the main appeal, if otherwise, in order and post it for admission on 22.08.2024. If the cost is not paid on or before 22.08.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without any reference https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis to this Court.
