This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the FIR based on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.07.2022 in C.S.R.No.425 of 2022.
2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a sum of Rs.60,000/- to one Dhakshinamurthy through Amalraj for securing a job. The said Dhakshinamurthy did not secure her any job but he sent a notice that he had availed only Rs.15,000/- as loan and out of which he repaid Rs.12,500/- and there is balance of Rs.2,500/- and the petitioner is harassing him by demanding Rs.60,000/- by charging exorbitant interest on loan. He further submitted that he got materials to show that the petitioner had given money to the said Dhakshinamurthy just on the promise to secure a job and not as a loan as alleged by him. 2/4
4.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R.No.425 of 2022 and it is still pending.
5.
The records would show that the allegations are serious in nature and the petitioner is said to have got materials to substantiate her allegations. In such case, it is not necessary for the respondent police to keep the CSR pending for four months. Hence, I feel it is appropriate to direct the respondent police to expedite the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.
With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
