The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 75(2), 308(2) of BNSS, 2023 in Crime No.190 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 19.09.2024 the defacto complainant and his Lover went to the Karaikal Beach while that time the petitioner was on duty police in beach come to the defacto complainant questioning that why they come to the Beach and demanded sum of Rs.3000/- from the defacto complainant and the same was refused by the defacto complainant. Hence the petitioner asked the defacto complainant and his lover come to the police out Booth station and while that time the petitioner try to misbehave with the defacto complainant's lover hence the defacto complainant lodging this present complaint against the petitioner. Hence the complaint.

rna prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that two previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offences, the case was registered on 25.09.2024, two previous cases pending against the petitioner and the investigation is also at initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
