Heard Mr. T.Shanmugam, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr.D.Venkatachalam, Learned Counsel for the First and Second Respondents and Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Third Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner, who was working as Driver in the Transport Corporation of the First Respondent, has filed this Writ Petition to provide him duty as driver in Thiruvarur Branch, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation with all service and attendant benefits within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

Learned Counsel for the First and Second Respondents, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner has been dismissed from service by order dated 30.09.2021 and in such circumstances, nothing remains to be determined in this Writ Petition. In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
