2.The Registrar of Debts Recovery Tribunal, Chennai, sent a communication through E-Mail communication dated 05.01.2021 addressed to the Joint Registrar, Writ Section, High Court, Madras, stating among other things that on account of the announcement of complete lock down on 24.03.2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic virus, the time limit fixed by this Court for disposal of the appeal, could not be completed and that prayed for extension of three months time for disposal of the appeal.

3.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.Abdul Wahab, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

4.In the light of the above, extension of three months time is granted to the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Chennai, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order in the website, to dispose of the appeal.
