Respondent(s) PRAYER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned notice of auction issued by the 5 th respondent dated 04.08.2025 and quash the same, consequently direct the 5 th respondent to extend/renew the lease of the petitioner and his family members for the said lands till the harvesting of the agricultural crops in S. No 49 and 58/1 situated at Chikkardanahalli Village, Dandukaranhalli Post, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned auction notice issued by the 5 th respondent dated 04.08.2025 and for a consequential direction to the 5 th respondent to extend/renew the lease of the petitioner and her family members for the lands in S.Nos.49 & 58/1, situated at Chikkardanahalli Village, Dandukaranhalli Post, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District. 2.When the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing on 20.08.2025, this Court passed the following order:
''Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for respondents 1 to 4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that an auction is going to be held on 22.08.2025. Without prejudice to the grievance expressed by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to participate in the auction to be conducted on 22.08.2025.
2.Post this case at the end of the motion list on
28.08.2025''.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the written instructions received from the 4 th respondent alongwith the relevant documents are placed before this Court.
4.It is seen that the petitioner and her relative had participated in the auction. Insofar as S.No.58/1 measuring an extent of 35 cents is concerned, what was quoted on the side of the petitioner was a maximum of Rs.2800/- and whereas, the highest bidder had quoted Rs.6000/-. Hence, auction was confirmed in favour of one Mariammal. Insofar as S.No.49 measuring an extent of 38 cents is concerned, the highest that was quoted on the side of the petitioner was Rs.14,500/-, whereas, the highest bidder has quoted Rs.16,000/- and therefore, it was given in favour of the highest bidder. 5.In the light of the above, no further orders can be passed in this Writ Petition.
6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 28-08-2025 dn Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
