ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned notice dated 06.08.2025 and to direct the respondent to include the petitioner's name in the final merit list for UG NEET Course for the Academic Year 2025-2026. 2.Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though her name was included in the draft merit list of NEET Course, in the final list, her name was missing. He further submits that, on enquiry, she came to know that she claimed dual residence, hence her name was dropped in the final list. He further submitted that since she has applied in Non-Keralite category under Management quota, the same cannot be construed as a dual residence. 2/4

4. At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the respondents has received petitioner's reply belatedly that is why they were not in a position to include the petitioner's name in the final list. Now that the clarification given by the petitioner would entitle the petitioner to participate in the NEET counselling.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the impugned order dated 06.08.2025 is quashed and the respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to participate in the ongoing counselling.
