Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith pay family pension as per G.O.325 Finance (Pension) dated 28.11.2011 with effect from 28.11.2011 within the stipulated time based on her representation dated 3.2.2025.

The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "directing the respondents to forthwith pay family pension as per G.O.325 Finance (Pension) dated 28.11.2011 with effect from 28.11.2011 within the stipulated time based on the petitioner's representation dated 3.2.2025".

2.The petitioner would submit that her mother was working as a Sanitary worker in Perambalur Municipality and she reached the age of superannuation on 30.06.1999 and she was receiving monthly pension from 01.07.1999 till her death i.e., 20.08.2015. The petitioner's father predeceased her on 31.03.1993.
3. The petitioner would submit that she got married to one Raju and he died on 10.03.1996 and they had no issues. The petitioner was under the care and custody of her mother. The petitioner would submit that she has no sources of income. The petitioner submits that as per GO.325, Finance (Pension) dated 28.11.2011 she is entitled to get a family pension. In this regard she has sent a representation dated 03.02.2025 to the 3rd respondent. Since there is no response to the said representation the petitioner is before this Court.

5. Considering the limited relief that the petitioner's representation has not been considered to date, the writ petition is allowed. The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2025 and pass order on merits within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
