PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to modify the condition that the petitioner has to sign before the concerned police Station daily by 10.00 a.m until further orders imposed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge at Thiruvallur in Crl.M.P.No.4404 of 2019 dated 04.09.2019 to sign before the concerned Court namely Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur.

The petitioner, who had been arrayed as an accused, was granted anticipatory bail by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur on 04.09.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.4404 of 2019, on certain conditions. Seeking to modify the same, the present petition had been filed.

2. Heard Mr.R.Sasikumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Iyyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner is complying with the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.4404 of 2019 by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge by reporting before the respondent police station daily.

4. Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the considered view that the condition to report daily shall stand modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent Police as and when required.

5. All other observations made in the earlier order dated 04.09.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.4404 of 2019 shall remain intact.

6. This Criminal Original Petition stands ordered accordingly.
