This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.5812 of 2007 for the alleged offence under Section 420 of IPC on the file of the V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, as against the petitioners.

The matter has been listed for admission on 04.09.2017 and the learned counsel for the petitioners took time even for admission. Therefore, the case was adjourned to 11.09.2017. Thereafter, the learned counsel for the petitioners did not take any steps to list the matter for admission. Even at the admission stage, this case is pending for the last three years. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

At this stage, the fate of C.C.No.5812 of 2007 is also not known to the petitioners. Therefore, after lapse of three years, this Court is not inclined to entertain this quash petition and the same is dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
