ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.J.Jayan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner alleges encroachment on his property by the second respondent/Department of Animal Husbandry.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the present petition and submits that he would get his property measured as per the provisions of the Act i.e., the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 and thereafter take appropriate steps.

4. The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed as withdrawn. The petitioner may get his land measured in accordance with law and thereafter may take further steps as may be permissible under law. There will be no order as to costs.
