O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2) and 309(6) of BNS in Crime No.230 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 04.07.2025, when the defacto complainant was proceeding in his two wheeler near Kakakuppam odai, three accused persons waylaid the defacto complainant, attacked him and robbed cash of Rs.47,500/-. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police while opposing the anticipatory bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and stated that the respondent police had arrested A1 and A2 and recovered only a sum of Rs.1,500/- and the balance 2/4

amount of about Rs.46,000/- is yet to be recovered.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the nature of the offence and facts of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
