ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a mandamus to the first respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for issuance of passport.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the second respondent submitted that the name of the petitioner was added as an accused in Crime No.2174 of 2020 and ultimately, the referred charge sheet was filed on 31.12.2020 before the jurisdictional Court. Apart from this case, there is no other criminal case pending against the petitioner. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for issuance of passport and issue the passport, if the petitioner has satisfied all the other requirements. This process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
